Changing All The Babies!
A reminder to all that cloth diapers are better for the environment, The Great Cloth Diaper Change took place the weekend of Earth Day. The goal was to beat the previous record of 5,026 diapers changed and raise awareness that cloth diapers are better for the Earth.
People from all over the globe gathered to change their babies diapers. 300 people to be exact. This is the second time this event has occured. Changers from the U.S. as well as Belgium, Malaysia, Chile, Estonia, Israel and 11 other countries took part of this event.
As stated in the article from Huffington Post , “Contrast the thousands of disposable diapers needed to raise a child with the just over 70 cloth diapers a family would need for a new baby, and “the cost of cloth diapering is about one tenth the cost of disposables.”
Do you use cloth diapers? What do you think is the benefit of cloth over disposable?
