Tori Spelling’s Pregnant! Again! Already!

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott recently announced that they’re expecting another baby – just 5 months after their third child, daughter Hattie, was born. There’s no news on when the latest addition is due to arrive, but if Tori waited, like many women do, to make the announcement after she hit the 12-week mark, that means this latest baby was conceived only 2 months after their youngest was born. I want to give Tori both a high five and a consoling pat on the back.

The couple are also the proud parents of Liam, who turned 5 last month, and Stella, who will be 4 in June. I don’t care how much money or help you have, four kids under 5 is a lot of work!

Tori shared the news on her personal website in late March: “Dean, Liam, Stella, Hattie, and I are beyond thrilled to announce that another little McDermott is on the way. We feel truly blessed that another little angel has found us.” She also told People magazine that the pregnancy has been great: “This is actually the best pregnancy I’ve had so far out of all of them. Knock on wood. [I have] no morning sickness and I have energy. [It’s the] total opposite [of the] other three.” Pregnant, parenting three kids including an infant, working a high-profile, demanding job, and she has ENERGY? You guys, I think she might be magic.

I always thought I’d have my kids two and a half years apart (like I was with my little brother), but life got in the way and now they’re going to be closer to three and a half years apart instead, which I’m actually really glad about now. (Only one kid in diapers!) I can’t even imagine being in Tori and Dean’s situation and wish them the best of luck.

What about you? Did you plan the spacing of your children? Did you want your kids to be close in age (or did it happen that way by accident)?
